Le Havre AC is reportedly prepared to sell defender Étienne Youté Kinkoué (23) this summer, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano. The centre-back is entering the final year of his contract with the French club.
Since arriving from Olympiacos in January 2023, Kinkoué has been a significant member of the squad, contributing to Le Havre`s successful bid to stay in Ligue 1 for the past two seasons. He has accumulated 50 appearances in the French top flight.
Despite his importance on the pitch, Le Havre seems intent on avoiding a situation similar to last summer, where they were unable to offload the player before his contract further diminished in value. With this in mind, the club is reportedly seeking a transfer fee of around €5 million.
Several clubs are monitoring the defender`s situation. Romano indicates that English sides Burnley FC and Sheffield United, along with German club FC Köln, are among those interested in acquiring Kinkoué.
