Napoli is reportedly determined to secure the signing of Sam Beukema this summer. Bologna has finally set their valuation for the defender at €30 million, potentially rising with bonuses.
Following their Serie A championship win, the Partenopei are actively working to bolster their defense. Luca Marianucci from Empoli is expected to complete his transfer soon, with his medical examination scheduled for tomorrow.
Beukema is identified as Napoli`s next defensive reinforcement target. After persistent interest from Napoli over a period of three months, Bologna has now indicated they are open to discussing the Dutch centre-back`s potential departure.
A key development in the negotiations is that Bologna has officially established a price for the player: €30 million, plus additional performance-related add-ons.
This potential sale represents another significant financial gain for Bologna, considering they acquired Beukema from AZ Alkmaar in 2023 for a fee of just €7.5 million.
It`s worth noting that the original transfer agreement with AZ Alkmaar includes a clause entitling the Dutch club to receive 20 percent of any future transfer fee Bologna receives for the player.
Beukema is currently 26 years old, and his existing contract with the Stadio Dall’Ara club is valid until June 2027.
