According to recent reports, another Italian full-back may be departing Serie A. Besiktas is reportedly in negotiations to acquire Lecce`s Antonino Gallo.
Italian media outlet Tuttomercatoweb suggests Gallo is unlikely to remain at Lecce for the upcoming season, following the club`s successful, albeit narrow, avoidance of relegation.
Besiktas has identified the 25-year-old as a transfer target, although discussions are said to be in their preliminary stages.
Gallo`s Anticipated Departure from Lecce

Lecce`s asking price for Gallo is reportedly around €7 million. This potential fee represents a significant profit for the club, considering they signed him as a free agent from Palermo in 2019.
His current contract at Stadio Via del Mare runs until June 2026, with an included option to extend for an additional year.
During the past season, the left-back made 33 competitive appearances for Lecce across Serie A and the Coppa Italia, contributing three assists.
Gallo`s potential move aligns with a recent trend of left-backs leaving Italian football this summer, notably with Atalanta agreeing to sell Matteo Ruggeri to Atletico Madrid.
