Bayern Munich Confident Harry Kane Will Be Fit For Real Madrid Showdown

Bundesliga News

Bayern Munich’s prolific striker, Harry Kane, who currently leads the Bundesliga scoring charts with an impressive 31 goals in 26 appearances, recently missed the club’s 3-2 victory against Freiburg. However, Bayern sporting director Max Eberl remains optimistic about Kane’s readiness to participate in the crucial upcoming match against Real Madrid.

“We believe he will make it,” stated Eberl, who has also expressed a desire to extend Kane’s contract beyond its current 2027 expiration.

Kane was sidelined for the Freiburg match after sustaining a minor injury during training while on international duty. Consequently, the English forward did not feature in his nation’s 1-0 defeat against Japan, but he is anticipated to make a swift return to action.

Prior to England’s match, Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel commented on the injury, saying, “It’s a minor injury that practically came out of nowhere. He had to stop training after 15 minutes.”

This season, Kane has been in exceptional form for Bayern, contributing an impressive 48 goals and five assists across 40 appearances in all competitions.
