According to a report from La Voix du Nord, Italian clubs Atalanta BC and SSC Napoli are showing interest in Lille OSC`s winger Edon Zhegrova, aged 26. The Kosovan international is reportedly seeking a departure from France this summer as his contract approaches its final year, having already made his intentions clear.
Lille has apparently been preparing for this potential exit, having already acquired 20-year-old Norwegian winger Marius Broholm from Rosenborg on a five-year deal. However, despite the mutual agreement between Lille and Zhegrova on the need to part ways, reaching a final transfer settlement remains complicated, particularly concerning the transfer fee.
La Voix du Nord indicates that Lille values the winger at approximately €25 million and is unwilling to sell him for less. Compounding the issue of his expiring contract is his history of injuries during his tenure with Lille (“Les Dogues”); notably, the winger missed the entire second half of the 2024/25 season due to fitness problems.
