According to reports, Arsenal is showing interest in acquiring Monaco`s versatile 23-year-old attacking midfielder, Maghnes Akliouche. It`s been made clear by Monaco that the France U21 international is expected to depart this summer following an impressive season. The club reportedly values the midfielder at approximately €70 million.
Akliouche has already attracted attention from several other Premier League clubs, including Manchester City, Manchester United, Nottingham Forest, and Tottenham Hotspur. However, Arsenal has now joined the pursuit as a notable contender.
Further reports suggest that the Gunners are nearing a verbal agreement with agent Hasan Cetinkaya, who represents both Viktor Gyökeres and Akliouche. The North London side is searching for a wide player to enhance competition for Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli, and Akliouche is said to be a high-priority target on Arsenal`s list. Ademola Lookman from Atalanta Bergamo is mentioned as a potentially less expensive alternative, valued at €50 million.
