Former Fiorentina player Antonio Di Gennaro recently shared his thoughts on the club`s current situation, including potential transfer market moves. He commented on reports linking striker Edin Dzeko with a move, noting Bologna`s strong interest and the possibility of Fiorentina also entering the race.
Di Gennaro expressed his hope that Dzeko would join the Viola, calling him a “fantastic player” despite his age. He recalled Dzeko`s impactful time at Roma, where he effectively played both as a traditional striker (number 9) and a more creative forward (number 10). Di Gennaro believes Dzeko`s arrival would benefit his teammates, including Moise Kean, and suggested that a Dzeko-Kean pairing could be successful.
