Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr has reportedly initiated contact with Paris Saint-Germain to explore the possibility of signing South Korean international attacking midfielder Lee Kang-in.
According to reports from French media outlet Sports Zone, Al-Nassr is expressing interest in acquiring the 24-year-old player.
Lee Kang-in moved to the Ligue 1 champions two years ago from RCD Mallorca. His arrival was part of PSG`s strategy to bring in youthful talent and enhance creative options in the squad, particularly following Neymar`s departure.
During his tenure at PSG under the management of Luis Enrique, Lee Kang-in has featured in 81 matches, contributing with 11 goals and registering the same number of assists.
However, his recent opportunities on the pitch have seemingly decreased. This reduction in playing time coincides with the arrival of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and the notable progression of Désiré Doué. Lee Kang-in was an unused substitute in PSG`s most recent five fixtures in the Champions League.
While Al-Nassr`s interest is reported, Sports Zone indicates that, as of now, the South Korean midfielder does not appear to have any intention of leaving the reigning French champions.
