Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal have reportedly made an enquiry regarding Aston Villa midfielder Amadou Onana, who is 23 years old.
Sources indicate that Al-Hilal are considering the midfielder as a potential acquisition this summer and have contacted the Premier League side to gather information about a possible transfer. It is suggested that Onana is open to the idea of moving to the Middle East, although discussions are currently only in their initial phases.
As of now, Aston Villa has not received a formal bid from Al-Hilal for the player. If a transfer were to occur, this would represent the fifth club in Onana`s relatively short career. He made his professional debut for Hamburger SV in 2020, moved to Lille OSC in 2021, and then joined Everton in 2022 before his reported move to Aston Villa.
Al-Hilal finished as runners-up in the Saudi Pro League last season, trailing champions Al-Ittihad by eight points, and are aiming to mount a strong title challenge in the upcoming campaign.
