Chelsea FC centre-back Axel Disasi, aged 27, is unlikely to remain at Stamford Bridge for the long term. Several clubs are reportedly showing interest in the former AS Monaco defender. Following a solid debut season under Mauricio Pochettino, Disasi has seen reduced game time under the new head coach, Enzo Maresca. The Italian manager even sanctioned a loan move for Disasi to Premier League rivals Aston Villa during the winter transfer window.
Sources indicate that Disasi`s return to Stamford Bridge is expected to be brief, as both Newcastle United and Saudi Pro League club Al-Ahli are interested in acquiring the France international. It is understood that numerous other clubs are also anticipated to join the pursuit of Disasi, whose current long-term contract with Chelsea runs until 2029. Furthermore, Chelsea are already making plans for a squad without Disasi, reportedly aiming to sign Strasbourg centre-back Mamadou Sarr for the upcoming Club World Cup.
