Chelsea centre-back Axel Disasi, 27, may not remain at Stamford Bridge for an extended period, as multiple clubs have expressed interest in the former AS Monaco player, according to reports.
Following a relatively solid first season under Mauricio Pochettino, Disasi has seen less game time since Enzo Maresca took charge. His future with the London club appears uncertain.
Sources indicate that Disasi`s current spell back at Chelsea is likely to be brief. Both Premier League side Newcastle United and Saudi Pro League club Al-Ahli are reportedly interested in securing the services of the France international.
It is understood that other clubs are also expected to join the pursuit for Disasi, whose long-term contract with Chelsea runs until 2029. Furthermore, Chelsea are reportedly making contingency plans, considering bringing in Strasbourg defender Mamadou Sarr, possibly with the Club World Cup in mind.
