According to a report originating from L`Équipe, Dutch club Ajax is making significant efforts to sign Quentin Ndjantou, a promising 17-year-old talent from Paris Saint-Germain. The Amsterdam-based club is reportedly keen on acquiring the attacking midfielder, who was a key player in PSG`s recent 2-1 triumph over Nantes in the national U19 final.
Ndjantou is widely considered one of the most technically gifted players within PSG`s youth academy. The Ligue 1 champions have reportedly offered him a professional contract. Despite attracting interest from clubs abroad, Les Parisiens are said to remain confident in their ability to secure the youngster`s commitment for the long term.
Ajax has a well-established history of identifying, recruiting, and developing young French footballing talent. The potential acquisition of Ndjantou would align with this tradition, following the recent path of Roméo Garnier, another product of the PSG academy who recently transferred to Ajax in Amsterdam.
